18/11/25 l’Ing. Alessandro Federici di Haas F1 team terrà un seminario nel corso di Analisi dei Segnali e Telemetria dal titolo “Signal Processing Aspects in F1 Aerodynamics”
Alessandro Federici is currently Team Leader Aerodynamicist at Haas F1 team. He has received the Ph.D. in Naval Hydrodynamics in 2014 (University of Genoa) and a First-Class Master degree with honors in 2009 from University of Genoa with a thesis focused on the development of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) tools for high-speed hulls physical phenomena. Since 2012, Eng. Federici has been working in F1 Aerodynamics and more recently he has become responsible for the corners of the Haas-car, developing the aerodynamics of front and rear suspensions and brakes both for downforce and thermal aspects. He is leading a group of 7 people, which uses CFD simulations and Wind Tunnel testing tools to predict Full Scale car performance achievements.
